Questions worth asking
How does attribution work?
Each creator gets a referral link and a personal discount code. When a shopper uses either one, Seedr ties that order to the creator and records the traffic source it came from. If there is no signal, the sale is labeled Direct rather than guessed at.
Do creators need their own login?
Yes, and setting it up takes them about a minute. They get a portal where they can see their link, their code, their sales, and their current balance. That means fewer check-in messages for you to answer.
Does Seedr hold or send money?
No. Seedr tracks what each creator has earned and what is still on hold, then you pay through whatever method you already use. You record the payout in Seedr so balances stay accurate.
Will this work with my fulfillment?
Gift orders are created as normal orders in your Shopify store, so they flow through the same fulfillment process as everything else. They are tagged, so your team and your reports can tell them apart. No new warehouse steps are needed.
What happens when I uninstall?
Tracking stops and the creator portal closes. Your orders, discount codes, and customer data stay in Shopify where they have always lived. You can export your commission history before you go.
