Who we are

Seedr is a Shopify application operated by INFLUXX IO LLC, an Arizona limited liability company based in Scottsdale, Arizona ("Influxx", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information Seedr collects, why, and what happens to it. Questions go to support@getseedr.app.

Seedr serves three kinds of people: merchants who install the app on their Shopify store, creators and affiliates who join a merchant's program, and shoppers who buy from a store that uses Seedr. Each is covered below.

Information we collect from merchants

When you install Seedr, we receive your store's domain, store name, and contact email from Shopify, along with the API access the app needs to operate: creating gift orders, managing discount codes, and receiving order notifications. We store your program settings, such as commission rates, hold periods, and cookie duration.

Information we collect about creators and affiliates

When a creator joins a merchant's program, we store the details needed to run it: name, email address, referral code, commission history, and the payout details the creator or merchant provides, such as a PayPal email address. This information is visible to the merchant whose program the creator joined, and to the creator through their own portal login. It is never shared across stores.

Information we process about shoppers

To attribute a sale to a creator, Seedr processes limited order information sent by Shopify when an order is placed: the order identifier, order value, any discount code used, and order note attributes that carry a referral. We use this to calculate commissions. We do not build shopper profiles, and we do not sell or share shopper information with anyone.

When a shopper arrives at a store through a creator's referral link, Seedr records the click: the referral code, the landing page, the referring page address if the browser provides one, and any campaign tags in the link. We deliberately do not store IP addresses or browser user agent strings with click records. IP addresses are processed transiently for security and rate limiting and are not kept with click data.

Cookies

On stores that use referral links, Seedr's tracking script sets two first-party cookies in the shopper's browser: one carrying the referral code and one carrying an anonymous visitor identifier. These exist so that a purchase made later in the visit, or within the attribution window, can be credited to the right creator. The lifetime of these cookies is set by the merchant, between 1 and 365 days. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with third parties.

How long we keep information

Click records are deleted automatically after their attribution window ends and they are no longer needed for recent reporting. Commission, payout, and program records are kept for as long as the merchant uses Seedr, and are deleted when Shopify instructs us to remove a store's data after uninstallation.

Data rights and Shopify requests

Seedr supports Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. When a shopper asks a merchant for their data or for deletion, Shopify relays the request to us and we respond by exporting or erasing the related records. When a store is closed or the app is uninstalled, we delete the store's data on Shopify's redaction schedule.

If you are in a region with data protection rights, such as the EEA, UK, or California, you can also contact us directly to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.

Service providers

Seedr runs on cloud infrastructure and uses a small number of service providers to operate: Shopify for platform APIs and billing, our hosting and database providers, and an email delivery service for transactional messages such as password resets. Providers receive only what they need to perform their function.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it to operate the service. Every store's data is isolated from every other store's, and no merchant can view another merchant's program, creators, or sales.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of Seedr after a change means the updated policy applies.
